I'm short, so had to find the right place on the mat to lay, so my lower back would get massaged, now that I have found my spot, the mats massage sems to help. There are also different settings. Right now lower back seems to be best for me. I will know more next week but so far, so good.

Everyone should own this
This is my third one! I purchased two of the originals - one for me , one as a gift. I just updated to this model and passed mine on to a friend. I find this version slightly shorter than the original )I maybe wrong) and slightly lighter. I e been on it for 3-4 days now and I love the extra two modes. I don’t know if it’s my positioning on the mag but I find it does my upper thighs as well which is a welcome feature. I’ve been using it for close to three years and it has really helped when I’m experiencing pain from fibromyalgia and herniated disc issues . I feel that with my regular use it has lengthened my spine as well. There are some days that pain has me incapacitated and after a few sessions in this I am able to recover. I cannot say enough good things about the product itself but not so much with Homedics customer service.
